Here is my work for a competiton and University project 'Tales of the City'
I have put scanned pages of my sketchbook to kind of show you inital ideas and development. But they aren't in order :) I finally handed this work in today, I am disappointed with some aspects of the finals mainly panel two but after I have recieved feedback and advice on what to change from my lecturers I can enter them in to the Cheltenham illustration competition :)
After creating these characters it was decided they were dense for imaginary creatures so I re did them in just watercolour. These were watercolour, coloured pencil and pencil.
All creature were based off gargoyles.
I decided not to give this creature a full body in the final image.
